We would like to introduce ourselves: We are Don and Brigitte van der Linden. With our three daughters, Iris, Maran, and Kira, we are an enterprising and enthusiastic family who were ready to redefine our lives. We used to live in the Netherlands. Don worked as a security expert, and Brigitte had her own hair salon.

In 2015, we changed course, having been featured on the television show "Ik Vertrek" (I'm Leaving). We left everything behind in the Netherlands and bought an old farmhouse in Fongrave, which we transformed into a beautiful glamping site called Domaine Ramonjavel (www.ramonjavel.eu). During the high season, we welcome families with children up to 12 years old, and outside of this period, we passionately organize weddings. In 2019, we expanded the glamping site to include an alpaca farm (www.alpagaskimaris.com), have a small shop, and organize activities with the alpacas such as walks or picnics.

Meanwhile, the Lot et Garonne has completely become our home. We have found our niche here and greatly appreciate French life!

Over the years, we have completed significant projects on our beautiful glamping site, and thus, we began searching for a new venture. It was supposed to be a lovely little house on the Lot that we could rent.

This small house turned into something more significant. After seeing the real estate agent's listing, we went to take a look. There was a gap in the fence, and as we slipped through the brambles, we were inside.

The beautiful Abbey of Clairac, overtaken by 17 years of abandonment, looted, and in ruins. It captured our hearts, and we instantly fell in love!

It was a massive renovation project, but we are proud of the result!

In 2016, we hosted our first wedding, and it was a hit!

It's incredibly fun to see the bride and groom enjoying themselves with all their loved ones around them. The connection we feel from the couples and their guests. And each couple has their own wishes; it's so nice to achieve a beautiful result together.

We hope to welcome many more couples to our beautiful venues!
